Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

Commitment with the Blue Flag Program for the Ovabükü Beach in front of the hotel, Implementations of organic garden, towel-policy and energy savers. Mr. Gürhan, the owner/manager, uses only organic fertilizers and traditional treatments against eventual illnesses in his agricultural products. Avlana Evleri uses sun collectors for warm douche water and has a policy on washing as few as necessary towels.

Mr. Gürhan likes to entertain his guests with interesting stories about the history and the culture of Marmaris-Datça Peninsula.
