Cnidos Walking Tour

The walking tour begins in an original local teahouse where participants get to interact with the local people and enjoy their culture, while sipping tea or soft drinks. It then proceeds from Yazikoy to the fields of Cnidos. You can stop along the way to enjoy the beautiful vistas and take photographs.

At Cnidos, participants can explore the remnants of ancient times- the Byzantine storehouses, a Roman theatre, marketplace, and the vestiges of the Hellenistic temples. Lunch will be held at the Cnidos Harbour, followed by a rather steep walk to the Lighthouse at Cape Crio. Participants who wish to stay at the Cnidos Harbour will have a fantastic opportunity to relax, swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters at both the Cnidos Harbours.

After you return to Cnidos, you will be transferred back to your pick-up point.

This tour can be walked by anybody with a normal condition. This is a very smooth hike, over slightly sloping country roads, through orchards of olives and almonds and later on through fields of shrubs, at the lower part of Cnidos. At the main ruins of Cnidos which remain on the slope of a rocky hill, walking is easy again since everywhere are walking paths.

For optimal enjoyment during your trip, please don't forget following:

For all our tours and hikes we recommend  trousers and shirts with long sleeves because of shrubs and bushes along our paths and also because of dressing codes among the local people.
