Board the magic SILVER* TRAIN EXPRESS on a tour nobody ever dreamt of. No travel agency in this country ever created such a tour as far as anyone knows. There are some fancy train tours in old coaches but passengers are selected by class criteria rather than their sense of adventure, and they always have to stay close to the train or visit highlights in package-transfers.

The SILVER* TRAIN EXPRESS is different. Because this tour has been developed out of unique experiences of being on board and venturing on foot into the beautiful fields awaiting the traveller in these seldom visited areas. These tracks - once passing Ankara - are untouched by tourists. It is an adventure for people who like to see lesser known and forgotten highlights on their own, by climbing on local transportation and/or by walking.

This tour brings you along the historical trail of the Bagdad Express. And you step out of the train where local history is too interesting to ignore. You will stay sometimes in very simple and other times, standard accommodation. But you will see and experience the blood, sweat and tears of the builders of the ancient civilizations and of the people who built the Bagdad line. In short, you will experience the mysticism of labour and the undiscovered regions of Inner Anatolia.
