The Kerme Ottoman Konak is a wonderful example of how contemporary concepts of architecture combined with traditional motifs and proven styles can emerge into a new, warm and stylish accommodation with all modern comforts and a definite touch of history.
Although not very familiar to most travellers, the tidy, cosy settlement of Akyaka - where Kerme Ottoman Konak is situated - lies only 500 m down the main road from Bodrum to Dalyan.
Pine forests behind and the wonderful wetlands of Akmaz River in front of the hotel make it an ideal accommodation for lovers of nature and outdoor activities. The combination of modern facilities with historical details also makes it an ideal place for the cultural minded.
The peaceful beach of Akyaka, with its natural sands from the Gökova Gulf, is only 400 m from the hotel. Despite all the beauties of the area, the influx of newcomers from Turkey and other countries has not disturbed the local culture of relaxed helpfulness and hospitality.
