In the Land of the Gods of yore, where thunder was electricity and rain was water, lies the Estate of Knidia. City-man Ali Bey saw the natural beauty of the secluded valley and decided to build his eco-farm here on 4000 years old agricultural lands. An original water mill, olive mill and wine press were restored to produce natural olive oil and wine. There is now 400 acres of fertile land that has been turned into grapeyards, olive orchards and vegetable gardens.
Not many sounds of ‘civilized world' reach this place. No stress nor pressure even. Just relax! Work on the farm and dream your dreams away. Mr Ali and his team will help unravel your escapades during tasty meals at candle light. There's always something to do here. This is the place where you can learn hands-on about ecological agriculture. At Knidia Country Estate you'll be working with idealistic young people from Turkey and the international community.
The accommodation is basic and very natural. In shady locations on the site, cosy huts were built as protection against sun and rain. The atmosphere on the estate is warm and communal. Everything here breathes a deep respect for Mother Nature.
