Knidia Country Estate is a farmyard where mainly people, working in the ecological and biological foodmarkets, stay to learn about the principles and practices of biological-dynamic agriculture. This is not a normal accommodation, first because it is a teaching centre and second because there are no standard facilities like electricity or furnished rooms.

The climatological features of the Marmaris-Datça Peninsula are as such, that from late spring till early fall open air is the best place to sleep. On Knidia Country Estate this very natural principle is well understood and practiced. Cosy huts built with local materials have been constructed under trees and cliffs, to protect against the elements, sun and (sporadic) rain.
