Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Implementation of the Blue Flag Programs for clean Beaches and Beach Facilities (Guards, Toilets, Douches, etc). Blue Flag Program for Clean Marinas at Marmaris.
Implementation of a clean Promenade along the Marmaris Beach and a Well Functioning Garbage Recycle System at Marmaris.
Implementation of a functional and minimal use of water at the site: Maritim Gran Azur Hotel's waste water is recycled and together with rain water re-used for the gardens of the site.
Use of Solar Energy.
Policy on re-using towels. Policy on Personnel: The majority of maintenace personnel should be local,thus creating local income.
Detergents used are of low chemical contents. Every two months, control of cleaning materials used in the hotel as well as the quality of tap- and recycled water.
