Tıtco Tours

Titco Tours has more than 15 years experience in common tours and also some unique tour programs. The company organizes but also improvises with the consent of the travellers. They ask for flexibility for our tour leaders and admire the same mentality in our customers. Titco Tour aims at realizing tours which are great experiences in pleasure, leisure and learning.

This project was developed in accordance with the sustainable principles of millenia old practices in agriculture, many of its features still to be seen on the Marmaris-Datça Peninsula. Participants in this project are not dragging down local community, however on the contrary, they are showing interest in villagers lives. Travellers contribute positively to the self-image of farmers and may contribute that they hold on to their age-old ecological practices. On the travellers' side, the experiences of  working together with the farmers may result in a more profound understanding of village life in Western Turkey and may rear sustainable or ecological ideas and actions once back home.

When the projects starts to bring travellers in local households for some agricultural cooperation, implementation has started. Another part of the project is that money generated through charges should be collected at the office of the 'village-eldest' (muhtarlik) and be used for communal projects contributing to the maintenance of ecological agriculture in the region.
