Rafting
Enjoy a single day or two day magical white water experience on the Dalaman River, with experienced guides from Alternatif, a specialist company which operates rafting programmes on the Dalaman and Coruh Rivers (a very wild river in East Turkey), and is credited with developing the sport of rafting in Turkey over the last 11 years.
The grade of the river changes according to the water flow, so between April and June, the one day tour is considered grade four. Between July and October, it drops to three, a level suitable for all, even those without any previous experience. A two day tour with overnight camping can be offered between the months of March and June, in grade three or four water, and is a breathtaking experience.
7.30/8.00 - 10.30: By bus to the Dalaman River
10.30 - 11.00: Snack + tea
11.00 - 12.00: Instructions on equipment and techniques, and getting dressed
12.00 - 12.30: Lunch
12.30 - 14.30: Launch of rafting
14.30 - 15.30: Re-collecting equipment
15.30 - 16.30: Relaxing: swimming, tea, a beer, socialising
16.30 - 19.00: Back to hotel
Participant guidelines
This activity will be even more fun if you take a swimsuit, snorkel, sun repellent, and a water-resistant camera (optional).
