Hotel Royal Maris is one of the oldest hotels in town and one of the few in Marmaris to be open all the year round. It was fully refurbished in 2003, giving the former business hotel the comfortable atmosphere of a relaxing sea side resort that does not have its roots in tourism. The hotel and its private beach are separated by a cobblestone street which is closed for traffic during most of the summer season.
