Villa Almond Hill - Datca

Villa Almond Hill is situated high above one of the most beautiful bays of Betçe: the Bay of Mesudiye. From Almond Hill one can see Hayıt Bükü to the east and the long sandy beach of Ova Bükü to the west. Almost every day the Mediterranean Sea has a different colour, with summer and winter being the steadiest periods. Villa Almond Hill is surrounded by a large garden. Part of it is used as kitchen-garden from where you are allowed to pick the necessary items for your meal. Springtime (March-April) is the period of abundance. Flowers, grasses, trees and birds all ask your attention in the peaceful environment. Thanks to the carob and olive trees the countryside stays green and shady whole year through.

Although Villa Almond seems to be far away from the inhabited world, only the last 100 metres may be difficult for keeping the right track. Coming from Marmaris - Datça, follow the road to Knidos. After about 5 km the road splits at an electric building. Here you have to turn left, following the direction Hayıt- and Ova Bükü. After a spectacular descent you'll arrive at a crossing to Hayıt Bükü. Don't go there, but bend right. After some 200 m don't bend left to Ova Bükü but follow the road till you arrive at the village of Mesudiye. At the T-crossing bend right again. After about 500 m there is a site with 3 houses. After this site immediately bend left to the sandy road. The first villa on the left is Villa Almond Hill.
