Fatosh and Semih have a high commitment for ecological production and sustainable tourism on the Marmaris-Datça peninsula.
Fatosh is organising Flora and Fauna Hikes and gives Yoga lessons. (See our lora & Fauna Hike). Semih has a newly opened workshop where the whole process of making honey can be seen. (see OHAWO-project).
Environment and Health Care.
Our Hosts at Villa Almond Hill are committed to a number of conservation projects on the Marmaris Peninsula: Restoration of historical buildings and agricultural lands. Construction of replicas of historical buildings.
One of our hosts at Villa Almond, Mr. Semih, produces pure honey that is unique to the region. Samih runs the Honey Shop ('Bal Hane') at Yakaköy, opposite of Yakamengen Restaurant. At Semih's Honey Shop you can find all kind of ecological/natural products of the region, like olive soap, wax candles, medical herbs, and spices.
Our other host, Fatosh, is an active Hata Yoga teacher. She gives courses at the accommodation for guests and for local groups.
