Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:

There is a focus on the environment, with biological vegetables and a herb garden being nurtured.

On sale to guests: biological products like honey, olives, olive oil, almonds, herbs, cheese and village bread. All vegetables and herbs are from the garden, and most of the diary products, flour and other stocks in the kitchen are ecological.

The management arranges environment friendly activities and sports like walking/hiking, sailing, surfing and mountain biking.

When the vegetable garden runs out of supplies, guests are motivated to buy ecological vegetables and fruits from the local community.

Guests are encouraged to participate in the village-bread project of WHL, a very original and real-village-life experience.
