Villa Smyrna is an architectural pearl on the Marmaris-Datca Peninsula. For the first time we see such a sophisticated replica of a historical Ottoman Konak (mansion) built in recent times on the peninsula! Villa Smyrna definitely means a cultural and architectural enrichment for the region.
The villa as an accommodation for groups of up to seven or eight persons, offers large, cosy rooms, all with impressive mountain and sea views. The interior of this newly opened accommodation is decorated with a combination of antique, (neo) classic and modern furniture. Along the sitting or dining room is a large open kitchen with modern equipment.
In front of the villa is a huge balcony with a breathtaking vista over the Mediterranean Sea and the islands of Simi and Rhodes.
The green mountain slopes of Mesudiye belong to one of the most beautiful parts of the Marmaris-Datca Peninsula. Here the Boz Mountains incline to the sandy beaches of Hayıtbükü and Ovabükü Bay. It is here that in recent times more sophisticated houses and accommodations were built.
Villa Smyrna highlights this new style in construction activities. It is built as an exact copy of 19th century Ottoman mansions from Izmir. All details and decorations of Villa Smyrna are either bought from antique shops and existing (ruined) houses in Izmir, or are exact replicas.
Your hosts Ms Fatosh and Mr Semih lived abroad for a long time. They returned to Turkey - where they were born - with rich experiences and many tales in many languages. They will certainly turn your stay at Villa Smyrna into an unforgettable experience.
